About the role
ADRO seeks a qualified Agronomist to provide technical leadership for climate-resilient agricultural interventions in Somalia's riverine and rainfed farming areas. The role involves designing and implementing climate-smart agriculture, capacity building, field supervision, and coordination with communities and partners to improve productivity, soil health, water management, and resilience to climate shocks.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, Crop Science, Soil Science, Plant Protection, Horticulture, Natural Resource Management, Agricultural Extension, Climate-Smart Agriculture, or closely related field. Master’s degree is an added advantage.
