About the role

SSWC, in partnership with AMREF, seeks a consultant to develop and pilot digital data collection tools for CSOs to monitor harmful practices (FGM, CEFM) and response services in Dhobley district, Jubaland. The consultancy includes needs assessment, tool development, training, and piloting.

Education

Advanced university degree (master’s preferred) in a relevant field

Skills

  • Expertise in designing and deploying digital data collection systems using KoboToolbox, ODK, CommCare, or similar applications.
  • Strong knowledge of data management, data quality assurance, reporting, and dashboard development for monitoring and evaluation.
  • Good understanding of data protection, confidentiality, ethical data collection, and safeguarding principles.
  • Proven ability to develop user-friendly digital tools, facilitate training, and provide technical support.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
