About the role
The regional programme 'Improving the Prevention of Female Genital Mutilation in the Horn of Africa (FGM Prev)', funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), works in partnership with stakeholders in Ethiopia, Somalia, and Sudan to support the prevention and abandonment of FGM and other forms of gender-based violence (GBV). The Advisor provides technical and organizational support to key partners in Somali Region, Ethiopia, including the Bureau of Women and Social Affairs, civil society organizations, and international partners, strengthening collaboration and coordination to enhance intervention effectiveness and sustainability.
Education
Master’s degree in public health, Social Sciences, Gender Studies, Development Studies, International Relations, or a related field.
