About the role
Pharo Health, a portfolio company of Pharo Ventures Group, is seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterologist (Internal Medicine Sub-Specialist) to provide expert diagnosis, treatment, and management of gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary conditions within a modern diagnostic and healthcare facility in Hargeisa. The role involves delivering high-quality clinical consultations, managing both acute and chronic digestive disorders, and performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. The Gastroenterologist will also contribute to clinical quality, multidisciplinary collaboration, and the development of gastroenterology services within the facility.
Education
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or equivalent degree in Internal Medicine; Sub-specialty Fellowship training or Board Certification in Gastroenterology and Hepatology
Skills
- Excellent manual dexterity and precision for endoscopic interventions.
- Ability to interpret complex hepatobiliary and GI data.
- Experience in managing clinical teams and procedural units.
- Strong interpersonal skills for managing patients with chronic, life-altering conditions.
