About the role
UNICEF is seeking a Health Specialist (Immunization) to provide technical assistance in developing immunization work plans, ensuring alignment with national health goals, and supporting response efforts to cVDPV2 outbreaks and other vaccine-preventable diseases. The role involves coordination, planning, implementation, and monitoring of immunization programmes, with a focus on Central-South Somalia, and promoting gender equality within the programme.
Education
Master or equivalent (Advanced University Degree) in Public Health, Epidemiology, Child Development, Child Health, Nutrition, Public Administration, Social Policy, Social Development, Community Development, or related fields.
