About the role

The Innovation & Economic Inclusion Officer will lead the planning, implementation, and monitoring of innovative livelihood, entrepreneurship, market systems, and economic resilience interventions under the NAGAASHO Program. The role focuses on implementing innovative approaches that enhance project delivery, coordination, efficiency, and effectiveness of the economic domain of the NAGAASHO project. The officer will work closely with consortium partners, local stakeholders, government institutions, and community structures to ensure effective implementation of project activities in target districts (Erigavo and Afgoye) and surrounding areas. Key responsibilities include coordinating field-level implementation, ensuring quality documentation and reporting, supporting the establishment and training of VSLAs, facilitating innovation challenges and Kobciye initiatives, strengthening partner collaboration, and introducing practical tools and approaches that improve program outcomes and sustainability.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in development studies, Project Management, Social Sciences, Innovation Management, or related field.
