About the role
The World Food Programme is the world's largest humanitarian organization saving lives in emergencies and using food assistance to build a pathway to peace, stability and prosperity. The Monitoring & Evaluation Officer will provide inputs to the development of monitoring, review and evaluation plans, contribute to evidence-based decision-making, and support capacity building of WFP staff and partners.
Education
Advanced University degree in social sciences, statistics, development economics, performance management, monitoring and evaluation or other related fields, OR First University degree with additional years of relevant work experience and/or training/courses.
Skills
- Self-driven, well organized, can manage an important workload
- Creative problem solver, flexible and constructive approach to overcome challenges
- Advanced knowledge of excel, descriptive statistics for data analysis and reporting, and data integration is desirable.
- Ability to extract insights, areas for improvements and success stories from analysis of data.
- Proficiency in MS Office
