About the role

The Programme Policy Officer will support the integration of gender, protection, and community engagement into WFP's programmes in Mogadishu. Responsibilities include conducting protection and gender analysis, supporting participatory implementation, strengthening referral mechanisms for protection cases, and fostering partnerships on gender equality and protection. The role also involves capacity building of staff and partners on gender and protection mainstreaming.

Education

Advanced University degree in International Affairs, Economics, Nutrition/Health, Agriculture, Environmental Science, Social Sciences or related field, OR First University Degree with additional years of relevant work experience.
