About the role
PENHA is seeking four highly motivated professionals for a UNEP-GEF-LDCF project titled 'Scaling up the Green Legacy Initiative best practices to enhance the climate resilience of smallholder farmers and vulnerable groups in Ethiopia'. The project aims to scale up best practices from the Green Legacy Initiative, strengthen climate resilience, and improve livelihoods across six priority districts. Positions include Project Coordinator, M&E Specialist, Gender and Safeguards Specialist, and Financial Officer. The Project Coordinator will lead project implementation, ensure technical excellence in landscape restoration and resilient livelihoods, manage stakeholder engagement, and oversee financial compliance. The M&E Specialist will develop and lead a comprehensive M&E framework to track project impacts and ensure data integrity.
Education
Master’s degree in forestry, climate change adaptation, environment and development studies, natural resource management, or a related field.
