About the role
The Temporary Child Survival Programme Officer will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation of Health and Nutrition activities under the Damal Caafimaad project in Galmudug. This role includes direct planning and coordination of all sector activities related to Nutrition, Health, and WASH. The Program Officer will work closely with relevant line ministries to ensure effective coordination, information sharing, smooth implementation, and delivery of high-quality services.
Education
Bachelor Degree or Diploma in health science
Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience with an international NGO/UN/Local NGO & Government in implementing and coordinating humanitarian/development program activities including health, nutrition and WASH
- Excellent verbal and written communication and relationship building skills
- Experience in community mobilization/CMAM/IYCF/EPI/IMCI/BeMONC/GBV/PHAST/CHAST/CLTS
- Basic knowledge of project planning, implementation, and monitoring
- Good understanding of local language and culture practices
- Basic understanding of child right frameworks
